Increased unique allowances for young specialists with medical and pharmacy education

The unique allowances for young specialists with higher medical and pharmacy studies will increase up to 120 thousand lei. The unique allowances for medical staff with specialized secondary studies will increase up to 96 thousand lei. Amendments to the Law on Health Care in this respect have been approved by the Government, IPN reports.

The money will be paid in three equal annual installments. Allowances will be received only by graduates who will be employed based on the assignment of specialists carried out by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.

The aim is to stimulate young people with medical education to work especially in the districts and villages of Moldova, where there is a shortage of specialists.
