In Moldova there is no viable and healthy party of the right and the appearance of any new party of the right, including of the Party “Dignity and Truth”, is thus welcome Valeriu Ostalep, director of the Institute for Diplomatic, Political and Security Studies, said in the talk show “Pahomii” on Realitatea TV channel, IPN reports.
Ostalep noted that he has yet some suspicions about the new party. “Initially, I liked the protests mounted by the Platform “Dignity and Truth”. But I asked myself repeatedly if these protests will not be used to launch a party. It happened so ultimately,” he stated.
The expert added that the new party does not have a clear platform. “Until now I didn’t hear a clear economic platform from the party “Dignity and Truth”. I advise them to work out such a platform. The economic recovery is very important. We are concerned about the living standards, the prices of public utilities and the exodus of people from the country,” said Ostalep.
He considers that even if the new party enters Parliament as a result of early elections, it will not have many chances of forming the government. “Polls show the party “Dignity and Truth” will gain at most 15% of the vote and they will have no one to form an alliance with. The largest number of seats will be won by the parties of the left and the future government will be formed by these parties,” stated the expert.
