In half an hour, 11 persons have been injured in 4 road accidents that occurred Thursday, between 18.00 and 18.30 on the capital’s streets, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to Chisinau Road Police Inspector Ion Roscovanu, at 18.00, on Calea Basarabiei street, a VAZ-2109 automobile hit a 40-year-old-man causing him a femur fracture.
Six persons have been injured as a result of the collision between a Seat and a Lada-11183 car, occurred at the crossroad of Petricani and Balcani streets, at 18.20. The collision caused head concussion and metal shocks to both drivers, one 22 years old and the other – 24, three pasengers, of 17 and 18 years of age, from the Seat and to the 18-year-old-wife of the Lada automobile driver.
Exactly 10 minutes later, at 18.30, three pedestrians have been injured in accidents occurred in approximately the same region. On Alecu Russo Street, 18, an Opel car, driven by a 20-year-old young man from the Sangerei raion hit a 47-year-old woman and her 17-year-old daughter. The minor has suffered severe traumas, and has been transported to the intensive care section of the Emergency Hospital while her mother got a mental shock.
Almost simultaneously, a 64-year-old-man has gotten the fracture of both calves after he has been hit, also on the Alecu Russo str, 11, by a Ford automobile.
During the last 24 hours, there were other 18 accidents in the capital. Road police fined 16 drunk drivers.
