In Chisinau has been inaugurated the art exhibition of Elena Revutcaia

The exhibition of paintings of Elenea Revutcaia has been inaugurated on Friday, May 5, at the headquarters of the OSCE mission of the Republic of Moldova. The representative of the mission, Antonia DeMeo mentioned at the opening ceremony that the works of Elena Revutcaia inspires joy and optimism, it reminded her of her childhood when everything was perfect and the world was painted in rose. „This exhibition is a true gift for OSCE” said Antonia DeMeo. According to the artist Vasile Didic, member of the Artists’ Union of Moldova the style of the works is a little naïve, but it has a warm attitude that comes from the heart. It represents an interesting symbiosis between the folk Russian art and Bassarbian art. Elena Revutcaia declared for the reporter of Info-Prim Neo that the exhibition unites 57 paintings and graphics, the majority of them being executed in the last half of the year but there are presented 10 years old paintings. In the last year at the headquarters of the US embassy her paintings were exhibited. The works have great success abroad being bought by the art admirers from several countries. The most expensive painting of the collection cost 300 USD and the cheapest – 10 USD. The artist was born in Sahalin (Russia) but she graduated from arts school and the Painting Institute of Moldova.
