The Ministry of Justice has announced the launch of the implementation of the concept of the Forensic Case Management Information System. The system will enable to create and keep forensic cases by storing, systemizing and updating information processed by legal expertise institutions, which will optimize the work of the personnel of these institutions. Also, the time needed for compiling reports will be reduced considerably as the information will no longer be collected on paper, but will also be integrated with the assistance of a modern technological reporting instrument, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Ministry.
The head of the Minister of Justice’s Office Marcel Moraru said the successful implementation of the system will contribute to standardizing procedures and the methodology for performing forensic procedures. The Ministry of Justice will offer all the necessary support. The draft Government Decision concerning the system is to be approved by the Cabinet.
The concept of the Forensic Case Management Information System was worked out with support from UNDP Moldova and Sweden as part of the Project “Strengthening Efficiency and Access to Justice in Moldova”.
