A mission of the International Monetary Fund comes to Moldova in the second half of September to initiate negotiations on the new assistance program for Moldova. The issue was discussed in a meeting of the IMF Resident Representative in Moldova Armine Khachatryan and Head of Parliament Igor Cormann, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the legislative body, the two officials discussed the economic developments in Moldova, including within the program with the IMF, and the economic development prospects of the country.
Igor Corman underlined the importance of carrying out the European reform plan, including in the economic sphere, in order to ensure macroeconomic stability and sustainable economic growth in the country.
