An expert in fiscal administration of the Internal Monetary Fund (IMF) will provide assistance to the State Main Tax Inspectorate within the technical assistance project supported by the Government of the Netherlands, IPN reports

Shawn Gale will work in the State Tax Service throughout the project implementation period, which is of three years. The technical assistance project aims to ensure the fiscal compliance of private individuals with large incomes and the administration of large taxpayers, the organizational reform of the State Tax Service and strengthening of the capacities to counteract large-scale tax frauds.

The expert started work on January 30, 2017. During the first week of work, he takes part in different meetings with the administration of the Ministry of Finance, the State Main Tax Inspectorate and its subdivisions.
