A runoff vote to choose the mayor of Ilyichovca commune of Florești district will be held this Sunday, December 15. Over 1,200 electors are expected to vote at the two polling stations established in the locality for the runoff election, IPN reports.

On the ballot there are six election contestants: Victor Zlîdnea (Respect Moldova Movement), Sergei Eremeyko (independent candidate), Fyodor Belyi (independent candidate), Valeriu Botnari (Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova), Olga Palataukova (Party of Development and Consolidation of Moldova) and Irina Podoprigora (Alternative and Salvation Force of Moldova).

For the conduct of the runoff mayoral election in Ilyichovca, the Central Election Commission ordered the printing of over 1,200 ballot papers, all in Russian. The cost of a ballot is 1.5 lei, and the total value of the print run is almost 1,800 lei.
