Illumination of Stefan cel Mare Blvd. costs about 13 million lei
Reconstructing the public illumination system of the Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd., crossing the center of the capital, will cost the municipality about 13 million lei, Tudor Garbu, advisor of interim mayor of Chisinau municipality, announced about this.
According to Garbu, it is discussed the possibility to illuminate the avenue in three regimes – full illumination (installing of illumination devices on every pillar), economic regime (50 % illumination rate) and illumination of the economic agents’ offices. An additional illumination regime is planned as well – a holiday-time one.
At the working meeting, Public Transport Public and Communications Department and municipal enterprise „Lumteh” presented some illumination versions of the avenue and of the Great National Assembly Square, versions that, in Garbu’s opinion, have to be improved. At the same time, within 10 days, Architecture and Urbanism Department is to draft options for illuminating economic agents’ offices.
Reconstructing the public illumination system of the Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd. is included in the Development Program of Chisinau city for 2006.
