Goalkeeper Ilie Cebanu returned to the team that helped him enter big football. The member of the national football team joined Zimbru without a contract. The last club for which he played was Mordovia Saransk, of the second league of Russia, IPN reports.
Cebanu could play the away August 4 encounter between Zimbru and Speranta, of the fifth stage of the National Division. Denis Rusu, the main goalkeeper of Zimbru during the last few years, suffered an injury and will be absent for about two months.
Ilie Cebanu, 30, earlier played in the championships of Austria, Poland and Russia. He became a champion with Wisla Krakow in 2008. He played 24 matches for the national team of Moldova.
