Vladimir Plahotniuc and Igor Dodon represent a dangerous duo who could transform Moldova into a North Korea of Europe, deputy chairman of the political party “Our Party” (PPPN) Ilian Casu stated in the talk show “Important” on TVC 21 channel, IPN reports.
“I cannot say which of them is more dangerous. They form a whole that endangers democracy and even the existence of the state. A dictatorial regime is being established,” said the heavyweight of the PPPN.
Ilian Casu noted that Vladimir Plahotniuc, who controls the state institutions, started to take revenge against the activists of the PPPN in an unprecedented way and Renato Usatyi is the most hunted one because the Democratic leader cannot compete with him in legal ways. “Renato Usatyi suffers a lot because he cannot come now to the Republic of Moldova. He really loves this country. But I think that such a situation will not last long. Much more powerful dictatorial regimes fell. This will also collapse, like a sand fortress,” said the politician.
Ilan Casu also said that he and the PPPN will vote for the removal of Igor Dodon from the post of President, if such a referendum is initiated. He noted he is also ready to vote for the dismissal of Dorin Chirtoaca from the post of mayor of Chisinau, but is not sure that such a referendum will take place.
