“I voted for changing everything in our country,” the vice president of the Our Party Ilian Cașu stated after voting in the preliminary elections. He said he refused to take the ballots intended for the consultative referendum, IPN reports.
“I will quote our party’s leader Renato Usatyi: “We want a state based on the dictatorship of the law”. I voted for the state institutions to work exclusively for the people’s benefit,” stated Ilian Cașu.
The politician noted that during the campaign, he and his party colleagues went from home to home and he is confident that the people will make a correct choice as most of them want a radical change. “Our Party, together with Renato Usatyi, comes to Parliament to change everything,” he stated.
Parliamentary elections and a national consultative referendum take place in Moldova on February 24. The polling places were opened at 7am and will be closed at 9pm.
