Igor Zakharov, communications adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, was appointed adviser to President Maia Sandu on European affairs and strategic communication. A decree to this effect was signed by the head of state, IPN reports.
Igor Zakharov will take up his new duties on February 26.
Olga Roșca, who served as presidential adviser on foreign affairs and strategic communication so far, will not work as foreign policy adviser, according to the decree signed by President Sandu on January 30.
