President Igor Dodon will request the Government to recall Moldova’s Ambassador to Romania Mihai Gribincea for the reason that the diplomat made impertinent comment that are incompatible with his status. The President informed about this on his Facebook Web page, IPN reports.
“I’m surprised to find out that some of the ambassadors became advocates form some of the politicians from the country of residence and forget which state they serve. It is yet more serious when they make political comments about the state authorities that appointed them. This shows the poor professional qualifications of the given diplomat or his political commitments to the detriment of his own state and its administration,” wrote Igor Dodon.
According to him, this is how the statements of Moldova’s ambassador in Bucharest can be described. “I will request the Government to recall this ambassador and to replace him with a person who better understands both the diplomatic powers and the interests of the Moldovan state,” he also wrote.
In the same posting, the President makes reference to a press report according to which Mihai Gribincea declared that Igor Dodon’s decree to withdraw the Moldovan nationality from the former Romanian President Traian Basescu could be declared unconstitutional.
