Igor Dodon urges publicly Vladimir Voronin to stop telling lies

The chairman of the Party of Socialists Igor Dodon called publicly on his former party chief, the leader of the Communist Party (PCRM) Vladimir Voronin, to stop telling lies. The call was made in the program “Fourth power” on N4 TV channel, IPN reports.

The Socialist leader, besides reprimanding Voronin for telling lies, urged him to make common cause with the Socialists so as to destroy their main election contenders. “Mister Voronin, you are at an advanced age and I respect your age fully. I do not want to believe that this is the reason why you tell lies. This is not good. We, the Socialists, unlike you, are clean and sincere. Not me, but you have bank accounts and houses abroad. You must understand that in the coming elections the PCRM will gain the lowest number of votes ever, while you are playing the game of Brussels and the U.S. We must concentrate our efforts as we have a common political opponent that we must destroy,” stated Dodon.

The leader of the Socialists said that Voronin lied publicly when he leveled criticism at him, including by saying that Russian singer Iosif Cobzon invited him to the concert, as the singer came to the central square of Chisinau directly from the airport.

Igot Dodon said that in the very first sitting of the legislature that will be formed after the November 30 elections he will submit a bill to denounce the Association Agreement with the EU and he will see then if Voronin leaves the sitting together with his Communists.

Asked about a possible post-electoral alliance, the Socialist leader said that he will form an alliance with any political party that is against the Romanian language and the history of Romanians and is for Moldova joining the Customs Union.
