The President of Moldova Igor Dodon is paying a working visit to the Russian city of Sochi to take part in the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on October 10. While in Sochi, President Dodo will have meetings with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and other high-ranking officials, IPN reports.

“We have what to discuss with our strategic partners from the CIS, including with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. A number of decisions of great importance to our country, related to economic development, rise in exports and the diaspora, will be taken in these events. I’m convinced that the visit will be successful,” said Igor Dodon.

The program also included a visit to the Sochi State University and meetings with students of this institution and with representatives of the Moldovan diaspora in Sochi city and Krasnodar region.
