Igor Dodon: PSRM is in opposition and will vote for no bill of parliamentary majority

The leader of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) Igor Dodon said the faction will act in the opposition in Parliament and will vote for no bill that will be put forward by the parliamentary majority. After yesterday’s sitting of Parliament, he told the journalists that the parliamentary majority was actually formed by the PLDM, PDM and PCRM, IPN reports.

Igor Dodon said that this government is the government of oligarchs. “We will be in harsh, professional and responsible opposition,” stated Igor Dodon.

On January 26, the PSRM will file a challenge to the Constitutional Court as they question the legality of the decisions taken in the January 23 sitting of Parliament, when the legislature’s administration was elected. According to Dodod, the procedure for convoking Parliament was illegal as the MPs who signed for convening a sitting should have first filed an application to the Standing Bureau, which wasn’t constituted yet.

In yesterday’s sitting of Parliament, the lawmakers voted in the Speaker, the Deputy Speakers and the Standing Bureau.
