The Communist Party’s candidate for mayor of Chisinau Igor Dodon pledges to modify the organizational structure of Chisinau and create several new divisions that will deal with investment attraction and the management of municipal patrimony. Surrounded by several supporters, the politician spoke about his team’s solutions for the efficient administration of the capital city in front of the Triumphal Arch in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. “We aim to set up a functional one-stop office to reduce corruption. Every employee of the Chisinau City Hall must be selected by contest. During the last four years, most of the City Hall’s chiefs were appointed by order of the mayor, not by transparent contests,” said Igor Dodon. He also said that together with the team of councilors, they will create by a free legal advice office in every district of Chisinau. The jurists will provide free legal assistance to the residents of Chisinau in matters concerning their relations with the City Hall. “We, the inhabitants of Chisinau, have waited for changes for four years. But the situation worsened. Our team promises to administer competently. Every six months, we will come before the people and present reports on the work of the City Hall and the mayor. We promise that if most of the problems to which we propose solutions are not solved in 18 months, we will hold a referendum to change the City Hall’s administration,” said Igor Dodon.
