The PCRM’s candidate for mayor of Chisinau Igor Dodon, after casting his vote, said a new page in the history of Chisinau municipality will start tomorrow. He said he voted for a cleaner, modern and developing city free from political ballets and demagogy, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I’m firmly convinced that the residents of Chisinau municipality are tired of political wars. Chisinau and its inhabitants should not be involved in political struggles. We want a better life. Our children deserve and will have a better future,” said the Communist candidate for the mayoralty of Chisinau. “A lot of work was done and I think the results will be those that we projected. We are sure that the victory the PCRM won on June 5 will be confirmed today. The luck accompanies those who are prepared,” Igor Dodon added. The candidate will visit the five district party committees in Chisinau to see how the voting process goes. “We have more than 2,500 observers at the over 300 polling places set up in Chisinau. I will be in touch with our observers. In the evening, I and my party colleagues will be waiting for the election outcome that is extremely important to us,” said Igor Dodon. The residents of Chisinau are choosing their mayor between the PCRM’s candidate Igor Dodon and the PL’s candidate Dorin Chirtoaca.
