The leader of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) Igor Dodon said that during his last visit to Moscow, they agreed that the Republic of Moldova will receive several hundred thousand Russian vaccines against the novel coronavirus, IPN reports.
After the meeting of the PSRM’s political executive, Igor Dodon said that his visit to Moscow was rather unofficial, but he had a number of working meetings there. He also met with the deputy head of the presidential administration Dmitry Kozak, the special representative of the President of Russia for the development of trade and economic relations with Moldova.
“We agreed that Moldova will get several hundred thousand Russian vaccines Sputnik so as to start vaccination. I know that preparations were launched for registering this vaccine in the Republic of Moldova. I hope no artificial obstacles will be placed,” said Igor Dodon.
According to him, the Moldovan citizens should have access to different vaccines, not only the Western ones, which are attempted to be infiltrated. The politician also said that everyone saw the effects of the Western vaccines and these also caused deaths. He noted he personally trusts the Russian vaccine and would like to be immunized namely with these.
