The Supreme Security Council is to come together for a meeting at the start of next week. President Igor Dodon said the composition of the Council will be modified in a bid to avoid attempts to block its work on the part of members in the future. The Head of State didn’t provide details, IPN reports.
Among the subjects proposed earlier by Igor Dodon for being included in the agenda are the second Kroll Report and the measures that need to be taken to punish those to blame for the banking fraud. The Council is to also examine, at the suggestion of the President, the anti-state actions by some of the organizations, parties and representatives of the local public authorities, the attempts and provocations aimed at liquidating Moldova’s statehood and the steps that will be taken by the law enforcement agencies in this regard.
The agenda will also include the discussion of the new draft national security strategy and the approval of the Supreme Security Council’s plan of action for this year.
