Igor Dodon meets again with ambassadors of the US and Russian Federation

President Igor Dodon has talked today, November 11, with US Ambassador Dereck Hogan and with Russian Ambassador Oleg Vasnetsov. The head of state has already had meetings with the two diplomats, but also with other ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Moldova, on November 7, IPN reports.

The head of state mentioned that in the discussion with Dereck Hogan he addressed "various issues regarding the strengthening of the strategic dialogue between Moldova and the USA and stressed the importance of further deepening the commercial-economic relations, carrying out projects in the humanitarian, educational and other fields". Igor Dodon expressed gratitude for the support offered to the Republic of Moldova as regards the democratization, implementation of reforms and functioning of the institutions of the rule of law.

As for the meeting with Oleg Vasnețov, the president stated that they exchanged opinions on several topics related to the development of trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian relations between the two countries, emphasizing the need to further deepen the strategic partnership. Igor Dodon noted that "Primakov Lectures" session – a discussion platform created in 2015, attended by diplomats, political scientists, historians, journalists, scientists, etc. organized in Chisinau and Tiraspol - was a success.
