President Igor Dodon presented the idea of a social dialogue platform for conciliation between the two sides of the Nistru River in a press briefing, IPN reports.

The Head of State said we himself will offer us the chance of lending each other a hand within this platform. “This way we will be able to together contribute to solving problems faced by the people living on both sides of the Nistru,” stated Igor Dodon.

He also said that time has come to start a new page in Moldova’s history and convince the people that they should not leave with the past and should find the power to forget the earlier sorrows and give a new impetus to the country’s development.

Details about the organization and functioning of the platform haven’t been made public. The journalists were unable to pose questions to the President.
