Igor Dodon: I’m convinced that Socialists will have parliamentary faction

The leader of the group of Socialists Igor Dodon said he was convinced that the Socialists will soon have a parliamentary faction. He alluded to the fact that the three MPs who left the Communist parliamentary group may join them, Info-Prim Neo reports. ”What happened confirmed what we said during the last 6-7 months. From today, the two extremes – the Communists and the Liberals – no longer have a majority of seats in Parliament. This is a novelty for Moldova during its 20 years of independence. It now depends on the wisdom of the others to take the next step to exclude these two extremes from government,” said Igor Dodon. He expressed his confidence that more Communists will leave the Communist Party after the party’s congress that will take place this weekend. MPs Vadim Misin, Oleg Babenko and Tatiana Botnariuc announced their decision to leave the Communist parliamentary group in the June 7 sitting of Parliament.
