Igor Dodon: I voted for Christian values and for my children’s future

The leader of the Party of Socialists Igor Dodon voted for Moldova’s future and prosperity alongside Russia, IPN reports. In his speech that he gave in Russian at the polling place, where he went together with his wife Galina, the Socialist leader congratulated the Moldovan people on the occasion they enjoy as they can now bring about changes in the country by their vote.

“I and my family voted against an oligarchic power. I voted for the future of this country, for the Christian values and for my children’s future,” stated Igor Dodon.

He warned that the first attempts to rig the elections were already made. “The information system that cost millions of lei malfunctioned this morning. I think this was done intentionally so as to allow multiple voting. According to my informant, the ballots intended for the Moldovan voters in Russia will be used up in several hours. At the only polling place set up in Moscow, there are over 1,000 people waiting to vote. A fraud was committed by establishing only five polling places in Russia, for about 800,000 voters,” said Igor Dodon.
