The early parliamentary elections are the only solution for overcoming the political crisis in Moldova, considers the chairman of the PSRM Igor Dodon. After the February 12 sitting of Parliament, he told the reporters that Iurie Leanca was sacrificed for the sake of the oligarchic interests in Moldova, IPN reports.
Igor Dodon said the non-voting in of the Government is a political game that involved the Communists as they want to afterward install a Prime Minister docile to the parties. “The Socialists’ position remains unchanged. The only solution is to remove all the oligarchs from power. We have no other solutions than holding early elections,” he stated.
The Socialist leader noted that early elections for the PLDM, PDM and PCRM mean ‘political death’. The PSRM will not change its position and will vote neither for the next candidate for premiership, who will be proposed by the coalition.
The Leanca II Government could not garner the 51 votes of MP needed to be invested. It was supported only by the 42 lawmakers of the PLDM and PDM.
