The President of Moldova Igor Dodon transmitted congratulatory messages on the occasion of the election of Frank-Walter Steinmeier as President of the Federal Republic of Germany and of Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov as President of Turkmenistan, IPN reports.
In his message to Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Igor Dodon says 2017 has a special meaning owing to celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations. “Throughout this period, the bilateral ties witnessed a developing political dialogue and economic and sector cooperation. I want to thank you for the stable support provided to my country in the reform and modernization processes,” reads the message.
In his message to Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, Igor Dodon says the results of the presidential elections are a proof of the increased activism shown by the voters and confirms the Turkmen society’s attachment to the social-political course promoted during the previous mandates. “I’m firmly convinced that your activity in the highest state post will contribute to the development of Turkmenistan and to the continuous flourishing of its people,” says the message.
The Head of State also invited the Turkmen President to pay a visit to the Republic of Moldova in the nearest future. The exact period will be agreed through diplomatic ways.
