The head of the parliamentary group of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) Igor Grosu said that what citizen Igor Dodon should do in the remaining period of time is to ensure a civilized transfer of power to the President-elect. According to the MP, Igor Dodon at the last minute tries to subdue the state institutions and this is usurpation of power, IPN reports.
In a press briefing, the MP said a new President was elected on November 15 and this will shortly take up her duties. Igor Dodon should remain calm, should not destabilize the situation and, what is more important, should leave the state institutions to do their job.
Igor Grosu noted that he and his colleagues are monitoring all the initiatives coming from the incumbent President. Igor Dodon at the last minute tries to subdue institutions and to make some changes. He should stop as the employees of state institutions realize that these should work and be independent and no longer want to follow the same work method and want to do their job.
