Igor Dodon announces gas and water supply projects

President Igor Dodon, after a meeting with the Premier and Parliament Speaker, announced a number of initiatives designed to improve the living conditions in localities. According to him, there will be implemented national programs to build gas and water supply systems, to light villages, to complete the gasification of communities and to cleanup villages and liquidate waste dumps there, IPN reports.

“Today, together with our colleagues from the Government and Parliament, we discussed the main objectives in the work of state institutions. It is the start of the year. It is a very important year with many economic and social initiatives. At the beginning of the year, there were launched and implemented a number of social projects beneficial to the people,” stated President Dodon.

“The development of infrastructure is a priority and in 2020 we will transform the Republic of Moldova into a large building site to construct roads and other infrastructure facilities. We will work intensely to attract investments and to create jobs in all the country’s districts. On January 22, we will meet with all the mayors of the country in a move to improve cooperation with the local public authorities,” Prime Minister Ion Chicu stated for his part.
