Head of Parliament Igor Corman is paying an official visit to the capital of Switzerland Bern on March 3-5. This is the first visit made at parliamentary level since the establishment of the Moldovan-Swiss diplomatic relations on September 2, 1992, IPN has learned from the Parliament’s press service.

The Speaker will discuss the development of the cooperation relations between Moldova and Switzerland, the European modernization agenda of Moldova, the internal political situation and the developments in the region with Swiss officials.

Another subject for discussion is the Transnistrian conflict settlement talks in the 5+2 format, given that Switzerland holds the OSCE Chairmanship this year.
