The benefits of the integration into the European Union and the impact of the European projects in Moldova were the main subjects discussed by Head of Parliament Igor Corman in meetings with the local authorities and people from Telenesti district.

The official underlined that the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU will facilitate access to the European funds and will stimulate the attraction of investments to the national economy. This will help improve the living standards, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from Parliament, Igor Corman expressed his conviction that intelligent state policy means good relations with the countries both from the West and the East.

In another development, the Speaker said he will support the local authorities in their efforts to set up an industrial park in Telenesti. He added he will be waiting for the assessment and a business plan from the district head so as to take steps to attract investors.
