Igor Bugaiov to miss Latvia match
Striker Igor Bugaiov will sat out Moldova's first 2010 World Cup qualifier against Latvia, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Moldovan footballer, currently playing for the Russian club Ural (Ekaterinburg) suffered an injury shortly before being summoned by Moldova coach Igor Dobrovolski, and is preparing apart at the squad's official trainings.
Although doctors are trying their best to get Bugaiov fit for the qualifying campaign, he remains a doubt for the match against Israel on Sept. 10.
Igor Bugaiov, one of Moldova's top goal-getters in 2008 EC qualifiers, can be substituted by strikers Viorel Frunza, Sergei Alexeev, Gheorghe Ovseanicov or Igor Picusciac.
