Political analyst Igor Botan, in a program on TV7 channel, said the first results presented after counting 70% of votes, which show Igor Dodon polled over 57% of the ballot, will not change radically, IPN reports.
Journalist Alina Radu stated that if Igor Dodon becomes President, he will not represent several categories of people – those who feel Romanians, those who speak Romanian and those who do not have children. “A lot of people feel stigmatized,” she stated.
In the same program, ex-minister of foreign affairs and ex-ambassador Andrei Popov said he expects the ratio will be 53%:47%, most probably in favor of Igor Dodon.
