After playing eight years for the Russian clubs Kuban Krasnodar and Anji Makhachkala, Igor Armaș decided to joint the championship of Romania, IPN reports.

The 31-year-old fullback signed for the last-ranked team FC Voluntari. The team trained by Dinu Todoran scored only two points after seven stages played. The goalkeeper of Politehnica Iași Denis Rusu also participates in the championship of Romania.

Igor Armaș played 51 matches for the national football team of Moldova and scored three goals. In 2007 he won Moldova’s Cup together with Zimbru.
