If parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, the Party of Socialists would gain 16.8% of the vote, while the Action and Solidarity Party – 8.5%. These are the only parties that would pass the election threshold, shows a poll commissioned by the Institute for Development and Social Initiatives “Viitorul” to CBX-AXA. Some 49.5% of those poll said they are undecided, IPN reports.
Of the decided respondents, 41.6% would vote for the Party of Socialists, 21.2% for the Action and Solidarity Party, 7.8% for the Democratic Party, 6.8% for the Party of Communists, while 5% for the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform”.
When asked which of the authorities have acted most appropriately in the period of crisis, with the question being without variants of answers, most of those polled mentioned the Ministry of Health and the local mayor’s office.
Some 86% of those surveyed said the authorities acted correctly when they banned priests from holding services with the involvement of parishioners during Lent.
The poll was conducted by phone during March-April and covered a sample of 1,104 grownups. The margin of sampling error is +/-3%.
