Identity of Moldova’s Post Office used in scam

The state-owned Moldova’s Post Office informs about a new scam that uses a fake email message in which the company’s name is mentioned. The message is sent in order to obtain personal information and then bank details, IPN reports.

"These messages are false and do not come from Moldova’s Post Office," the company warns.

Users who receive such messages are urged not to access the inserted links and never to provide personal or banking data.

It is also recommended to avoid making payments requested through such messages.

To verify the information or report suspicious messages, people can contact the customer support service of Moldova’s Post Office on 1310.
