Inhabitants of Chisinau, Balti and Anenii Noi district will have the possibility to obtain identity documents through the National System of Passports on the base of a simplified concluding procedure. Initially, the project was tested for two months by the department of Population Evidence and Documentation of Chisinau’s Rascani district. According to the Ministry of Informational Development, quoted by Info-Prim Neo, the mentioned procedure will be applied in the case the validity term of the identity cards will expire – at the age of 25 and 45 years or when lost. In these cases the citizens will receive the second passport. As well the citizens of Moldova that have permanent residence in foreign countries will benefit of the simplified procedure. In case citizens will solicit to change other information than those personal, they have to present the necessary documents in order to actualize the information of the Population State Registry. At present in the Population State Registry it is included the information about 90% of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova.
