The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technologies will issue licenses for one kind of activity in the ICT sector. The license will be granted from November 10 for services to create, implement and ensure the functioning of automated information systems of national importance, including software, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Agency. Private individuals and legal entities, regardless of the type of ownership and legal form of organization, can ask for such a license. It is issued within three workdays of the day of receiving the document showing the license tax of 2,500 lei was paid. The tax is transferred to the state budget. The period of validity of the license is five days. It can be extended for the same period and in the same conditions. Until now, the Agency had issued license for services to design and implement automated information systems and resources of state importance and services to ensure their functionality. The given license is valid for a year. A number of 48 companies now hold by a licenses for both kinds of activity.
