Ialoveni will host informational center for authorities
A center for the information of local authorities will be built in Ialoveni, as a part of the collaboration between Moldova and Poland, reports Info-Prim Neo.
“We hope that the informational center from Ialoveni will give local public administrations of level 1 and 2 real possibilities in accomplishing their plans. It has a good start. We hope that this example will be followed by northern and southern regions too”, mentioned Marcel Raducan, Minister of Regional Development and Construction, at the signing of the cooperation memorandum with Poland.
Polish Minister of External Affairs Jerzy Pomianowski, in turn, stated that Poland was succesful on the matter, and the experience exchange, the foundation of this center represent a small project with great expectations; for its goal is not only to inform, but also to support and cooperate with local public administration in elaborating regional development projects.
The center will focus on the consolidation of local public administration and NGOs in Moldova. The center will be responsible for the delivery of information on international financial assistance (including the European Union) for the Government of Moldova, LPAs and NGOs of Moldova. The headquarters of the center is offered for free by RDA Centru (Ialoveni, 33 Alexandru cel Bun str.), who will also ensure the center’s fixed cost expenses. Additionally, the center will receive financial support from Poland, until the end of 2013.
