Ialoveni girls who remained without parents will live in “Casa Stela”
A community house located in Ialoveni town will accommodate girls from socially underprivileged families who remained without one or both of the parents. “Casa Stela” has a capacity of 34 places and was built with support from the U.S. organization Philip Cameron Ministries.
The children who remained without parental care are in a difficult situation. This community house provides not only good living conditions, but also the necessary attention, said the organization’s president Philip Cameron.
U.S. Ambassador in Moldova Asif J. Chaudhry said that regardless of the distance, the people are the same. He stressed that Moldova will have a future until there are kind-hearted people.
“We need good examples as regards the provision of assistance to these children and I take this opportunity to send this message to all those who have the possibility to do it,” said Prime Minister Vlad Filat.
A similar home has been recently opened in Chisinau. It houses 11 boys.
