A woman was murdered by the father of her children during a quarrel. The tragedy happened in Chisinau's Botanic district on Tuesday evening, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the police, the man and woman aged 40 and, respectively, 36, lived together with their two sons, 15 and 7, at the dormitory of the Music College “Stefan Neaga”, which is located on Hristo Botev St. The husband and wife worked at a private shop. They returned together from work at about 21.30. They went out and started to argue. The conflict degenerated into violence. The man stabbed his wife several times in the thorax and in the face. The woman died on the spot. According to police statistics, the murder attempts and causing of serious and medium bodily injuries in the family make up about 20% of the total number of crimes committed in the country. Ten of the 11 cases of murder recorded this year were solved.
