The hunting season for pigeons, ducks, partridges and foxes opened today, August 17. Hunting will be possible on Saturdays, Sundays and on holidays. Oleg Ciocoi, chairman of the Hunters and Fishermen’s Association of Moldova, has told IPN that the hunters will be able to hunt in the fields.
According to him, a hunter can shoot 20 partridges, five ducks and 12 pigeons a day.
Pigeons will be hunted until October 13, ducks, bald coots, and grouse until January 12, partridges until October 13, while foxes until February 28, 2014.
The hunting season for boars opens on November 17, for rabbits on November 30, while for migratory ducks on October 2.
