The hunting season for birds in the Transnistrian region begins on August 10, which is one week earlier than on the right bank of the Nistru River. From August 11, the Transnistrian hunters can start the sports hunting of doves and partridges, IPN reports.

Bird hunting will last until November 24. On September 21, there will be opened the hunting season for lake birds, which will end on January 26, 2014.

On the right bank of the Nistru, boar hunting is allowed between November 17 and December 29, 2013, rabbit hunting – between November 30, 2013 and January 12, 2014, dove hunting – between August 17 and October 13, 2013, hunting of doves, except the hollow ones, and partridges – between August 17 and October 13, next year, while the hunting of ducks and other lake birds – between August 17 and January 12, next year.

Foxes can be hunted in an unlimited number between August 17 and April 27, 2014.
