Hunting from means of transport, aircraft, as well as with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles will be prohibited, as will be the tracking of specimens of wild fauna species. Lilian Carp, chairman of the parliamentary commission for national security, defense and public order, announced this during public discussions on actions needed to counter poaching, IPN reports.
Lilian Carp said that a draft law aimed at combating poaching is being drafted. The legislative initiative will stipulate several hunting prohibitions.
“Unfortunately, poachers have more sophisticated equipment, starting with drones with thermal imaging cameras, with cyclomotors. We need to see what we should change in legislation to combat this,” stated the MP.
Several proposals for this legislative initiative were presented at the meeting. Once it is finalized, the document will be registered and examined in parliamentary commissions.
