Hundreds of police officers will be mobilized to maintain public order during the Easter holidays. Police teams will patrol mainly the areas around churches in Chisinau, IPN reports.

Deputy head of the Chisinau Police Division Silviu Musuc said the police will maintain public order near the 120 churches of the municipality starting with April 15, 8pm, when the Holy Fire will begin to be distributed. Employees of the Chisinau Police will be on guard near churches until the next morning.

According to Silviu Musuc, a sufficient number of police officers will be assigned to ensure public order during the Easter holidays.

Iacob Capcelea, head of the Urban Bus Park, said that, as usual, the schedule of buses and trolleybuses running on routes in Chisinau will be extended until midnight on Easter night.
