I bank a lot on the medical society’s support in what we do at the Ministry of Health. We aim to adjust the protocols, to provide medical equipment, to raise the district hospitals to a new level and this was the goal we set when we initiated the transfer of 31 hospitals under the Ministry of Health,” stated the minister.

“I hope the projects we developed beginning with the health commission of the Parliament of Romania, the crossborder service SMURD, the development of joint relations on medical issues will continue. I assure you that what is good for health will be supported at European level,” said the first deputy chairman of the Public Health Subcommittee of the European Parliament Tudor Ciuhodaru.

The Ambassador of France in Chisinau Graham Paul said that the Government of France supports the development of medical practices in the Republic of Moldova, offering the Moldovan doctors the necessary expertise and the possibility of receiving raining in France. “The first Moldovan-French relations of cooperation in the field of transplant were initiated at the beginning of the 2000s between the Renal Foundation of Moldova and the French Agency of Biomedicine. The first results of this cooperation appeared in 2008, when a new law on transplant was approved in Moldova. In 2010, the Transplant Agency was created in the Republic of Moldova. Since then, the two agencies, together with the Embassy of France, have signed by a partnership agreement every three years. This enables doctors from Moldova to attend training courses on transplantation in France,” stated Graham Paul.

The eighth Congress of Urology, Dialysis and Renal Transplant is staged once in four years and is the most important scientific and practical forum that brings together hundreds of health professionals from Moldova and other countries.
