Human bones were found buried on Haltei Street in Chisinau’s Centru district during digging to repair a pipe leak. Preliminary estimations show the bones remained buried for some 25-30 years.
Chisinau Police spokesperson Natalia Stati told IPN workers found some skeleton parts that are believed to belong to one body.
The police has opened a criminal case as the remains will undergo proper forensic examination.
