Those who want to learn in practice how they can give first aid to children in emergencies are invited to an workshop centering on first aid that will be staged in the yard of the National Museum of History on June 23, between 5pm and 8pm, IPN reports.
The workshop is free and open to everyone. It is taught by doctors and residents and is organized by the REPEMOL Project within an event that will be held to mark 15 years of work by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Moldova.
According to the organizers, within the event a play and interactive lesson on traffic education entitled “Tronca, ponca, vaj” will be presented by the Municipal Theater “Guguta”. Also, pediatricians will provide consultancy on how to prevent home accident involving children and there will be staged games for traffic education intended for children and grownups.
Moreover, there will be presented all the projects implemented by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Moldova, divided into four sectors: Health; Water and Sanitation; Migration and Development, and Culture. All the visitors, from young to old, will be able to take part in a multitude of activities related to these areas, such as draws, contests for children, postcard making and drawing workshops for children, masterclasses with therapists on how to overcome stress.
Besides, the folk ensemble “Stramosii” (“Ancestors”) from Micleuseni, Straseni, and the band “Trigon” will give a concert. The event will end with the performance “Shakespeare for Ana”, based on interviewees held in Moldova’s jails and with screenings of documentaries.
