The works to prepare the municipal housing sector for the cold season are at half way, head of the Public Amenities Division Petru Gontea stated in the July 17 ordinary meeting of officials of Chisinau services, IPN reports.

According to Petru Gontea, the engineering systems of almost half of the apartment buildings were cleaned, while in 42% of the blocks the systems were washed. “Step by step, we are catching up and will work according to schedule. We are late only with the repair of roofs, but works here are also stepped up,” said the Division’s head.

Petru Gontea also said that the materials needed to repair roofs will be distributed to the municipal services the next few days. He assured that the works will be completed on time.
