The housing sector in the capital city is 94% prepared for the 2009-2010 cold season. Simion Roman, deputy head of the Public Amenities Division, said Monday that the heating systems in most of the apartment buildings have been cleaned, Info-Prim Neo reports. This year, the works in the blocks administered by the Privatized Dwelling Owners Association and in the cooperative buildings have been carried out faster, Simion Roman said, adding that they have been 75% finished. Roman also said that thermal insulation works have been performed in 760 apartment buildings. The Public Amenities Division in concert with employees of SA Termocom prepares the technical permits needed to start the heat supply.
